JANUARY
Kelcy Warren Earns “Dallas Philanthropist of the Year” Award
The Dallas Association of Fundraising Professionals named Energy Transfer Chairman Kelcy Warren “Dallas Philanthropist of the Year” for 2024. The award is presented to an individual or family with a proven record of exceptional generosity and outstanding civic responsibility.

Energy Transfer Signs Long-Term Agreement with CloudBurst Data Centers
Energy Transfer announced a long-term agreement with CloudBurst Data Centers to provide up to 450,000 MMBtu per day of firm natural gas supply to CloudBurst’s Next-Gen Data Center campus near San Marcos, Texas.

Energy Transfer Donates $100,000 to Texas Trees Foundation
Energy Transfer committed $100,000 to the Texas Trees Foundation to support three Dallas-based environmental initiatives throughout the year. In addition to the financial contribution, Energy Transfer employees participated by volunteering to plant trees across the city.

JUNE
Energy Transfer Fights Hunger with $200,000 Donation
Energy Transfer awarded a $200,000 grant to the North Texas Food Bank to combat hunger across its 12-county service area. This contribution brought the Energy Transfer/Sunoco Foundation’s total support to more than $1 million – the equivalent of 3 million meals – since the partnership began 13 years ago. To mark the milestone, Energy Transfer and Sunoco employees volunteered on-site to pack and box meals for local families.

Energy Transfer Wins Prestigious ILTA Safety Excellence Award
Energy Transfer was honored with the 2025 International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA) Safety Excellence Award, a top-tier recognition in our industry. Energy Transfer’s commitment to safety excellence stood out among peers nationwide, from leadership engagement to training programs.

Energy Transfer Announces Desert Southwest Pipeline Expansion Project
Energy Transfer announced the expansion of its Transwestern Pipeline to increase the supply of natural gas to markets throughout Arizona and New Mexico from the Permian Basin.

SEPTEMBER
Energy Transfer Begins Construction on the Hugh Brinson Pipeline
Energy Transfer kicked off construction on the Hugh Brinson Pipeline, a 442-mile intrastate natural gas pipeline designed to connect Permian Basin production to premier markets and trading hubs. Running from Waha to Maypearl, Texas, the project will provide critical takeaway capacity to support growing natural gas demand across the state.
Energy Transfer Extends Partnership with the Texas Rangers
Energy Transfer extended its jersey patch partnership with the Texas Rangers, ensuring it remains the official jersey patch partner through at least the end of the decade.

OCTOBER
Energy Transfer Donates to Texas Hill Country Flood Victims
Energy Transfer hosted a successful shoe giveaway event in Kerrville, Texas, providing more than 1,200 children with brand-new shoes to support the community’s recovery from devastating summer floods.

NOVEMBER
Energy Transfer Announces Landmark Agreement with Oracle
Energy Transfer entered into a massive long-term agreement with Oracle to supply natural gas to three of the cloud giant’s U.S. data center sites. Energy Transfer will deliver approximately 900,000 Mcf per day of natural gas via its extensive intrastate pipeline network.
D CEO Magazine Honors Energy Transfer Leadership
Executive Chairman Kelcy Warren and Co-CEOs Tom Long and Mackie McCrea were recognized in the Dallas 500, an annual publication by D CEO profiling the most influential business leaders in Dallas-Fort Worth.

DECEMBER
Energy Transfer and Sunoco Donate Over $2 Million to MD Anderson
Energy Transfer and Sunoco donated $2.1 million to MD Anderson’s Children’s Cancer Center to support critical pediatric cancer research – our biggest fundraising year yet. The funds were raised through our annual workplace giving campaign, which has now contributed more than $19 million to the hospital since 2014.
