In Louisiana, where the intertwining of industry and community thrives, corporations like Energy Transfer play a pivotal role in fostering local prosperity beyond their economic footprint. As part of Energy Transfer’s ongoing commitment to being a good neighbor, business partner and valued member of the communities in which its employees live and work, representatives recently visited five parishes in Louisiana to gift $100,000 among 11 nonprofit organizations.
By supporting a diverse range of nonprofits, Energy Transfer uses a holistic approach to community development, addressing various needs from food insecurity and public safety to healthcare and children’s enrichment. The donations made this spring are in addition to the $165,000 given to multiple organizations, sheriff, and fire departments along Gulf Run Pipeline’s route throughout 2021 – 2023.

“We are extremely grateful to Energy Transfer for their recent donation. Their support has and will continue to impact the lives of the children that are served by CASA of West CenLA. When organizations have strong partnerships and alliances, children in our communities have a better opportunity for success. Every action that we take should include consideration for those that follow us and influence the path we create,” said Tommy Edwards, Executive Director, CASA of West Central LA
“We are so thankful for the financial support from Energy Transfer. Their commitment to our mission is appreciated as we continue to serve more neighbors in need across our service area,” said Jayne Wright-Velez, Executive Director of the Food Bank of Central Louisiana.
Energy Transfer’s philanthropy reflects a corporate ethos that values community well-being as integral to its operational success. Partnerships like these remain essential in shaping a brighter, more inclusive future for all of Louisiana’s residents.
