In 2022, Energy Transfer and Sunoco donated nearly $1.9 million to The University of Texas MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital in Houston. Since 2014, Energy Transfer and Sunoco employees have donated more than $13 million to fund pediatric cancer research at MD Anderson Cancer Center through an annual workplace giving campaign. Every dollar donated by Energy Transfer and Sunoco employees goes directly toward MD Anderson’s innovative and lifesaving cancer research and patient programs.
More than 11,000 Energy Transfer and Sunoco employees donated over $504,000 in 2022, which Energy Transfer matched at fifty cents for every dollar donated. The Energy Transfer/Sunoco Foundation also contributed $1 million toward the workplace campaign. Additionally, CALS Convenience, an independent agent operator of more than 200 Stripes locations, raised nearly $124,000 through an in-store customer campaign, bringing the total to $1.9 million.
