Highlights From Energy Transfer’s 2025 Corporate Responsibility Report

Energy Transfer has released its 2025 Corporate Responsibility Report, highlighting our commitment to safety excellence, environmental stewardship, conservation and social responsibility.

Energy Transfer and its consolidated subsidiaries supported a global workforce of more than 22,000 employees in 2025 and ranked No. 53 on the Fortune 500 list of America’s largest companies by revenue, marking our 19th consecutive year on the list.

This year’s report details record-setting safety performance, major growth projects and innovative efforts to reduce our environmental footprint. We’re also proud to highlight our dedication to giving back to the communities where we operate, both through financial contributions and employee volunteering.

Financial Performance

We achieved a Partnership-record $16 billion in adjusted EBITDA, up 3% over 2024. Net income attributable to partners totaled approximately $4.4 billion.

Charitable Giving and Volunteering

Our charitable donations supported 382 nonprofit organizations across the U.S. totaling approximately $11.48 million – our highest amount to date. Employees volunteered more than 5,800 hours in support of meaningful causes, a 9.4% increase from the previous year.

As part of our annual workplace giving campaign, Energy Transfer and Sunoco donated $2.1 million to the University of Texas MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Center, with every dollar directly supporting vital cancer research and patient care initiatives. Since 2014, Energy Transfer, Sunoco and our employees have collectively donated more than $19 million to MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Center.

Environmental Management

Demonstrating our commitment to responsible environmental management, we captured approximately 67,300 metric tons of carbon dioxide through acid gas injection technology installed at treating and processing facilities in New Mexico and Texas – a nearly 46% increase over 2024.

We purchased more than 242,000 megawatt hours of solar power to serve Energy Transfer’s load – a 40%+ increase over 2024. We were also able to substantially increase oil recoveries from wastewater, with total recovered barrels rising 82% over the previous year.

Safety Excellence

Our OSHA Total Recordable Injury Rate (0.64) was the lowest in Partnership history and our third consecutive year of improvement. Driving safety was another area where we excelled, with our Preventable Vehicle Incident Rate decreasing to 0.83. We also invested $1.1 billion in asset maintenance to reinforce safety across our operations.

Record Volumes

We moved record volumes across most of our business segments through our network of approximately 140,000 miles of pipeline and related facilities spanning 44 states. Our export terminals and pipeline assets moved NGLs, crude oil and other refined products throughout the U.S. and to approximately 70 countries and territories.

Strategic Growth

To help meet increasing demand for natural gas transportation, we announced significant infrastructure investments. We began construction on the Hugh Brinson Pipeline, announced the Desert Southwest expansion of the Transwestern Pipeline and placed our Nederland NGL Flexport Expansion into service. We also began construction on Frac IX, the ninth fractionator at our Mont Belvieu NGL complex, and two new processing plants in the Midland Basin.

Innovative Technologies

We continued to leverage advanced technologies to improve our operations, launching several initiatives that use artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. These included efforts to enhance damage prevention, incident management, predictive maintenance, pipeline optimization and asset integrity.

We were also honored to be presented with the “Most Innovative 2025” award at the Texas Oil & Gas Association’s Energy Elevated Technology Showcase for collaboration on a joint aerial methane detection project with Vanguard Pipeline Inspection.

These achievements reflect Energy Transfer’s ongoing commitment to safety, operational excellence, environmental stewardship and community engagement. We invite you to explore the full 2025 Corporate Responsibility Report to learn more about our performance and progress across these important areas.
